Goodbye, New York

So, it seems that even after almost a week in the States, I still haven’t got over the jet lag, since it’s 7 a.m. and I’m awake. The past week has been quite adventurous, with long days packed with sightseeing and walking long miles through the cities of New York and yesterday, San Francisco. I’ve loved every minute of it, though. For someone like me, who spent their entire life in a country of no more than 2 milion inhabitants, big cities just never lose their appeal, being the giant playgrounds that they are. Here are some of my favourite moments from the time spent in The Big Apple.

Bringing this blog out of oblivion

Well, I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since I posted anything here. Truth be told, I forgot completely that I had this blog at all. It wasn’t because I had lost my interest in blogs or web design … it was just that, well … life happened. The last two years of high school have been somewhat different for me. I suddenly had so many friends to call and hang out with, so many papers to write, so many tests to study for, that the blogosphere just slipped out of my mind. I put this blog on ‘hidden’ years ago and actually forgot about it … Untill now!

This is what happened: I decided to take a 10 week trip across the USA with my friend. While I was thinking of the best way to stay in touch with my friends and my family, I thought a blog could do the trick – I could never call or/and write to all of them, so I might just as well blog and make things easier for myself.

So this blog right here will, for 10 weeks in the summer, become a travel blog. Whether I will still blog after I return I don’t know, but it might happen. For now,  however, I’m off to study for my finals … which I should be doing for the past hour anyway.

My evil plan

Is currently to create a machine, that would allow you to read and walk at the same time, meaning it would do the looking around for you! Think how much time that could save you and how many books you would be able to read this way!

No, really, this is just my excuse to avoid studying maths (did you notice I only write here when I have to study maths? No? I did.). But it would still be a great thing to own. :)

True Blood

Kinda weird. Kinda cool.

It really is spring

Warmer days ahead

Today is the first day of spring. Yay!
